Inspection Services ~ Bid Meeting
At PTS we understand the importance for the customer to ensure a quality and detailed inspection report is developed to allow their vendors the same advantage and they are all on the same playing field during their quoting process and to avoid any surprise to the customer during and after their component repairs are complete.
PTS starts out with grit blasting the components and then a Red Dye Inspection along with a Visual & Dimensional Inspection.
All components are serialized with their own inspection sheets which PTS utilizes the photo mapping process for all defects.
After completion of inspection sheets they will all be gathered together for engineering to evaluate and generate electronic copies. Once this step is completed they will be placed in three ring note books separated by component type also an electronic copy will be provided on a disc and be given to customer prior to bid meeting and copies given to vendors when they arrive at bid meeting.
The bid meeting will start out with going over the Inspection book this will allow the customer to discuss their repair limits and type of repairs they would like to see on each component. After meeting is complete vendors are invited to look at each component and ask customer questions.
