Penetrant Inspection

• Our Penetrant Inspection line is in compliance with the requirements of ASTM E1417- Standard Practice for Liquid Penetrant Testing.
• We have both; Visible Dye and Fluorescent Dye Penetrant Inspection capabilities to accommodate in-coming, production / in-process and final inspection of products.
• We employ certified inspectors to perform inspections and oversee the Penetrant Inspection process here at Phoenix Turbine LLC.
• Our penetrant inspection line can accommodate parts of many different sizes and weights, which allows us the ability to process everything internally.
• Our visible penetrant is water washable and allows us the ability to process parts using the same line as our fluorescent penetrant.
• Penetrant materials conform to the requirements of AMS 2644. (see Table I for our materials).
